Well, how did you spend your weekend?
I can't quite pinpoint all of mine, but I know for certain that I spent one hour of it babbling to a small courteous audience at the Design Your Career event, in the nearby town of Bournemouth, about my experience in starting up in freelance illustration. I was told that I came across as 'very natural' and 'passionate' which is good, I'd half expected 'repetitive' and 'nervously vague, if willing', some sort if Groundhog Day feeling lodging itself in the audiences brains and in my stomach. Ha!
But no, it was fun. Went well, I think, and I hope people enjoyed it, and took at least as much from it as I did. Thanks to any one who was there and thanks to the organisers for having me.
Hi, I was there and your talk was great. Really enjoyed it, definitely one of my favourites of the weekend. We have a print if yours onour kitchen wall that we got from vintage market, boscombe a while back, so it wad nice to hear your story.
